Our story

Named for light, through a veil.

Lucenveil comes from lucen, meaning light, and veil, the thin layer that softens it. We believe the feel of a room depends less on what's in it than on how the light falls, so we only make things that shape that light: sheer fabrics, warm lamps and linens that catch the glow.

Every curtain is cut to your window, and every lamp ships with a warm-tone bulb.

Before you order

Measure, then feel.

Two simple steps that help us get your curtains right the first time.

Measuring guide

Use a steel tape measure and note everything in centimetres. If you're unsure, send us a photo and we'll help.

  1. Width: measure the track or pole, not the window, and add 10–15 cm each side for fullness.
  2. Drop: measure from the top of the track to where you want the curtain to end: sill, below sill or floor.
  3. Floor-length: subtract 1 cm so the hem just kisses the floor.
  4. Send it to us: add your sizes to the enquiry form and we'll quote per panel.
